YA Class of Autumn 2009Mane Harutyunyan (oboe) Born in 1987 in Yerevan in the family of musicians. She is a student of a well-known Armenian oboe player and teacher Hovhannes Papikyan at the wind department of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. From 2004 she participated in the various talent supporting programs and projects, such as “New Names”, also competitions. In 2005 she became a laureate at the Spendiaryan Competition Festival in Armenia and toured UAE within the International Youth Festival program. Took valuable master-classes from the professors of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and appeared as a soloist with the orchestras and ensembles, such as Alan Hovhannes Chamber Orchestra and Yerevan Conservatory Youth Orchestra. In 2006 she was invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the Year of Armenia in France in Paris. In 2009 Mane reached the final of the Armenia President’s Youth award and became a laureate. The same year she was awarded the Grand Prix at the Gyumri “Revival” (Veratsnund) International Music Festival and Competition. Hayk Sukiasyan (cello) Born in 1994 in Yerevan in the family of musicians. In 2000 he entered Sayat-Nova Music School majoring in cello. At the same time he started to study piano with Naira Ter-Sargsyan as a second instrument. His first teacher was Aram Talalyan. He continued education with Ashot Ayvazyan and from 2005 he is a pupil of Tiruhi Sargsyan. From 2005 he appears with Sayat-Nova Music School Symphonic Orchestra, which was guided first by V. Minasyan, and then Yu. Poghosyan. Nowadays this orchestra is led by a renowned conductor Ruben Asatryan. From 2007 he is a cellist of Sayat-Nova School Quartet. A regular participant of Sayat-Nova School Gala Concerts as a soloist and concertmaster of the ensembles. He is a laureate of national competitions having participated at the Spendiaryan National Competition Festival in 2007 and 2008 becoming a laureate. In 2009 he toured Syria and Lebanon. The same year he participated at the Gyumri “Revival” (Veratsnund) International Music Festival and Competition and received the diploma. Hrayr Karapetyan (violin) Born in 1991 in Armavir. In 1997 he entered Yerevan Spendiaryan Music School majoring in violin. In 1999 he moved to Sayat-Nova Music School and continued education with Stella Karapetyan. After graduation of the school in 2006 he entered Tchaikovsky Special Music College where he studies in 2006-2007. In 2007 he enters Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory and starts to study with Professor Eduard Tadevosyan. He appears regularly with recitals from 2004 also in the concerts of the Children Philharmonic under guidance of Professor Armen Budaghyan. In 2007 he is a fist prize laureate of Avet Gabrielyan and Sargis Aslamazyan VII National String Competition. The same year he becomes a first prize laureate at the Spendiaryan National Competition Festival. From 2008 he is an internee of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra. Norayr Gapoyan (duduk) Born in 1993 in Karmirgyukh village in the family of artists. From 2002 to 2007 he studied in Karmirgyukh Art School majoring in duduk. In 2007 he took the 1 st prize at the Regional Folk Instruments Competition Festival. In 2007 he entered the Tchaikovsky Special Music School. In 2008 he participated in the National Folk Instruments Competition Festival and was awarded the 3 rd prize. From 2008 he appears together with the Naregatsi Folk Instruments Youth Ensemble. In 2009 he participated at the Gyumri “Revival” (Veratsnund) International Music Festival and Competition and received the 1 st diploma.
Hripsime Aghakaryan (piano) Born in 1992 in Artik. In 2000 she entered Daniel Ghazaryan Music School in Artik. In 2003 she moved to the Tchaikovsky Special Music School in Yerevan and started to study with Professor Roza Tandilyan, her teacher up today. From 2004 she started to appear within the New Names program. In 2005 she participated at the Spendiaryan National Competition Festival and became a laureate. Toured USA in 2006. The same year she was considered the best performer of the compulsory piece at the Arno Babadjanyan National Piano Competition. In 2007 she appeared as a soloist with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra. The same year she toured UK in the group of talented young musicians. In 2008 she was awarded the first and special prizes at the G. Saradjyan National Piano Competition. In 2009 she participated at the Gyumri “Revival” (Veratsnund) International Music Festival and Competition and received the 1 st diploma. She regularly appears with recitals all over Armenia and leading Yerevan concert halls. Mane Galoyan (vocal) Born in 1993 in Gyumri. She started her music education in 2002 at the Jean and Albert Boghossian Art College in Gyumri majoring in vocal with the teacher Yerazik Harutyunyan. Since 2003 she participated in the New Names program. She is a member of “Tiramayr Hayastan” Choir since 2005. In 2007 she entered N. Tigranyan Art School continuing her study with Yerazik Harutyunyan at the same time taking on a piano (teacher Anahit Vardparonyan). Mane participated in a range of national competition festivals with continuous success. In 2003 she received 2 nd diploma at the Aram Khachatryan Vocal competition festival. In 2005 at the Spendiaryan National Competition Festival she was awarded the title of laureate. The same year she was awarded a diploma at the “One Nation – One Culture” festival. In 2007 within the framework of the Young Talents Support program of the All Armenia Fund she toured Great Britain. As a piano player she was awarded a diploma at G.Saradjyan National Piano Competition in 2008. She toured Russia, Switzerland, Monaco in 2008 and 2009. In 2009 she participated at the Gyumri “Revival” (Veratsnund) International Music Festival and Competition and received the 1 st diploma in vocal and a Special Award in piano. |
