Nara Avetisyan – piano
Born in 1992 in Yerevan. She entered the Spendiaryan Music Colleg in 1998 to the class of Professor Arkuhi Harutiunyan. In October 1999 she won the Laureateship in the “Talents of the End of Century” competition. In June 2000 the first recital took place in Komitas Chamber Music Hall in Yerevan. In June 2000 she won Laureateship at Balys Dvarionas International Competition in Lithuania and was awarded with special prizes for the best performance of Baroque work, for the best performance of Romantic work and for the youngest competitor.
In December 2001 she won the 1st Prize (category “A Junior”) and 2nd prize (category “A”) at the VII International Piano Competition “Konzerteum” in Greece. Since 2002, a member of piano trio (teacher A. Talalyan). In October 2003 won 1st Prize-Assoluto at the XXVI International Piano Competition in Agropoli (Italy). In May 2004 had recitals in Vienna and Munich. In 2004 she took master classes in Suzdal with Professors Roschina (piano) and Oganezova (chamber music). Participated in concerts with the Yerevan Philharmonic Orchestra (2000) and Youth Chamber Orchestra (2002). Since November 2004 her teacher is a well-known pianist Professor Karine Ohanyan. Has made recitals in the Komitas Chamber Music Hall in 2005 and 2006.
In April 2006 she participated in concert with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra (Rachmaninov, Concerto N21 mov.). In April 2006 she was awarded a scholarship from Constantine Orbelian International Fund of Culture. Nara was honoured with perfect references of the famous musicians of Armenia, Germany, USA, England, Lithuania, Greece, Austria and Israel.
