Meri Khojayan – violin
Born in 1991 in Yerevan. Studies at the Spendiaryan Music College in the class of People’s Artist of RA Professor Eduard Tadevosyan. Meri is the Laureate of many International and Republican competitions and festivals: “Valsesia Musica” II International competition (2001, 1st prize and Gold Medal, Italy), German-Armenian “Hildegard Pabelick- Jentsch Preis” II International competition (2001, 2nd prize, Armenia), I Television Republican competition of the 3rd millennium “Elitist generation” (2002, Gold medal, Armenia), Emin Khachaturian Young Players National competition (2003, 2nd Prize, Armenia), “Delphic games” II International Juniors competition-festival (2004, 3rd Prize,Moldova), A. Gabrielyan and S. Aslamazyan Young Violinists and Cellists VI Republican competition (2004, 1st prize, Armenia), A. Spendiaryan Young musicians National competition-festival (2005, 1st Prize, Armenia), II Dubai International Peace Music Festival For Young Virtuosi (2005, 3rd Prize, UAE).
Took master-classes in Moscow . Was awarded diploma of UNESCO “For a bright personality and diligence” in 2004. She participated in the First Pan-Armenian Cultural Festival “One Nation, One Culture” (2004) and music Festival “National Gallery” (2005, 2006). She participated in the programs of New Names and toured France, Great Britain, USA, UAE and Russia.
